Hotel/Motels: Fairbanks offers a wide variety of accommodation options, year-round, for every type of visitor. Several of Fairbanks’ hotels offer well-appointed guest rooms (including all-suite properties), fine dining establishments, lounges, meeting rooms and health club facilities. As Fairbanks is a major destination for business travelers, many properties offer in-room amenities such as Internet connection, long-distance, cable and coffee makers. Most hotels are eager to serve travel groups as well as those looking to host a meeting or convention in Fairbanks.
B&Bs: If a smaller, more intimate experience is what you’re looking for, consider one of our many Bed and Breakfasts. Fairbanksans
are well-known for their hospitality and many open their home each year
to visitors from all over the globe.
RV Parks: If you’re bringing your own
accommodations with you, you’ll want to consider staying at one of our
many RV Parks. Most parks offer standard hook-up facilities as well as
restrooms with showers. Some also offer deluxe views of the Chena River
along with many of the conveniences found at a hotel such as fine dining
and assistance booking excursions.
Camping: Fairbanks offers many campgrounds both in and around town. Most campgrounds charge a nominal fee and offer areas for cooking, dining as well as restrooms. Most campgrounds open in the late Spring and remain open thru fall. Check with the
Alaska Department of Natural Resource
or the
FNSB Parks and Recreation for more
information.
Fairbanks has many varieties of accommodations even if you want to stay
on a budget. To
find out more information on finding Hotels, B&B's, and RV Parks, the
Fairbanks Convention and Visitors Bureau web site
can help!
